The IAM Engineering Support Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, compliance, and modernization of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) systems. This position focuses heavily on SailPoint technologies and supports migration from legacy systems to SailPoint, while driving operational excellence and innovation through AI-enabled capabilities.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$79,310.00 - $158,620.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

Position Summary
The IAM Engineering Support Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, compliance, and modernization of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) systems. This position focuses heavily on SailPoint technologies and supports migration from legacy systems to SailPoint, while driving operational excellence and innovation through AI-enabled capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze workflow and integration failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to maintain system stability.
- Provide decision-making support beyond routine monitoring handled by L1 Engineers.
- Ensure audit readiness through evidence collection and documentation.
- Explore and integrate AI-driven capabilities (e.g., predictive alerts, automated reporting) to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure AI complements, not replaces, critical human oversight and engineering judgment.
- Maintain adherence to regulatory standards with accurate, coordinated processes.
- Respond promptly to integration failures and workflow disruptions to safeguard business continuity.
- Apply expertise in system interdependencies and compliance implications to minimize risk
- Support and troubleshoot during the migration of IGA systems, ensuring smooth transition and minimal disruption.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in IAM technologies, with strong expertise in SailPoint IdentityIQ or similar IGA platforms.
- Familiarity with migration strategies to IGA systems (eg, SailPoint)
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR, etc.).
- Experience with AI-driven tools for monitoring and reporting is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of identity lifecycle management and provisioning workflows.
- Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and their IAM integrations.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
