External Communications Specialist

Location: Midwestern Region (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Contract

Compensation:
Pay Range: $31.85-$45.50 Per Hr

Description:
* Responsible for copyediting and delivering forward-looking, online technical and operational information.
* Create and deliver content for customer emails, website updates, and other customer-facing materials.
* Advocate for upholding brand standards in external communications.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support the customer notice process and align content from multiple stakeholders.
* Ensure timely and accurate execution and dissemination among team members.
* Support content updates on the website, ensuring accuracy and brand standards.
* Execute clear, concise, and useful copy.
* Collaborate with support teams to ensure accountability and timeliness for requests.

Qualifications:
* 3 years of experience in sending external communication via an email automation tool.
* Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Technical Editing, Technical Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or similar.
* Strong attention to detail and experience editing technical customer-facing copy.
* Ability to manage multiple deliverables and maintain content accuracy under deadlines.
* Experience with Content Management Systems and other web-based tools.
* Experience using project management and collaboration tools preferred.
