RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a remote Site Reliability Engineer to join their team.
Summary:
As a platform lead, you will own the operational reliability and scalability of the program within our Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) environment. You will collaborate cross-functionally with business partners, engineering teams, and the vendor to ensure a seamless and secure experience for users building intelligent agents and automation workflows. This is a high-impact role requiring a mix of systems engineering, observability, customer empathy, and strategic vendor partnership.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 6+ years of experience in systems engineering, platform support, DevOps, or site reliability roles
* Strong familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services, especially BigQuery, Cloud Logging, IAM, and Service Accounts
* Proven experience supporting third-party SaaS platforms in an enterprise environment
* Comfortable debugging logs, analyzing query performance, and writing or tuning SQL in BigQuery
* Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including vendor partners
* Experience triaging platform-wide issues and coordinating incident response
* Strong problem-solving mindset with a bias for action and continuous improvement
* Passion for user-centric tooling and enabling others through great platform experiences
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
