HR Business Partner
Location: Riviera Beach, FL
Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire
Description:
As the on-site HR Business Partner at one of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, you will provide high-quality advice and service to our 150+ person facility on a daily basis regarding employee relations, performance management and staffing support. You'll also lead the site in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience, including administrating the onboarding program. This role is also responsible for supporting our operations in Puerto Rico which has approximately 14 manufacturing plant associates.
Primary contact for Leave of Absence, Payroll, Bonus Payments, Employee Referral payments & Tuition Reimbursement inquiries
Primary point of contact for Worker s Comp related incidents guiding employees through reporting incidents, following up on status and appointments
Assist in recruiting by participating in selection and placement of candidates to help drive quality and timeliness of talent acquisition (coaching, providing guidance to hiring managers and helping to remove barriers)
Partner with VP, HR and hiring managers to appropriately evaluate and update position descriptions and salary grade alignment
Support implementation and administration of employee policies and identify ways to improve them
Audit ADP and HR SuccessFactors periodically to ensure org structure, cost centers and job titles are accurate
Deliver human resource related training to business partners
Support talent management processes
Collaborate with HRVPs and leaders to improve employee morale and company culture
Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective action if necessary
First, you'll need to have at least 3 years of experience working in a Manufacturing environment. Next, we'll need you to bring your ability to build credibility with all levels of the organization. With your proven attention to detail and critical thinking skills you'll help drive site HR efficiencies. You would really stand out to us if you had prior experience with LEAN methodologies and tools and proven experience working in a fast-paced organization experiencing some really exciting transformation.
5 years of related experience in HR and/or 3 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in HR
3 years work experience in a manufacturing environment. This is important to us! We d also consider similar industries to manufacturing (distribution/warehousing, logistics & transportation, utilities/energy)
Strong organization, communication, and conflict resolution skills
Demonstrated ability to onboard new employees and manage HR tasks
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Other tools in your toolbelt that would be great to have is:
Bilingual in Spanish and/or Creole would be fabulous!
A natural inclination for motivation, initiative, thoroughness, decision making and planning skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Experience with SAP, Success Factors would be great, but we can teach you if you have similar tool experience
