Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Center Technician! This position is fully onsite and based in Franklin, WI, with occasional travel to a downtown Milwaukee data center as needed. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in data center operations and a strong foundation in IT service management tools and practices.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cable installation and hardware setup in a data center environment.
- Maintain accurate inventory and asset records throughout the hardware lifecycle.
- Support data destruction and ensure compliance with physical and logical security protocols.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to manage shipping and receiving of materials.
- Utilize ServiceNow and related tools to track incidents, changes, and asset management tasks.
Required Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Hands-on experience with cable installation (Cat5/Cat6) in a data center setting.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, including Automated Test Framework (ATF) and ITSM modules.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with shipping logistics and asset management processes.
- Experience in infrastructure support, including rack and stack, hardware troubleshooting, and data center maintenance.
