Job Title: Senior Power Platform / .NET Developer
Location: Onsite Charlotte, NC (3205 Freedom Dr, Charlotte, NC 28208)

About the Role:
Mecklenburg County is seeking an experienced Senior Power Platform/.NET Developer to join our IT team. This role requires a hands-on technical leader to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade applications using Microsoft Power Platform, .NET (4.8/8), and Azure services. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Power Platform development, cloud integration, and modern software architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of applications built on Microsoft Power Platform and ASP.NET Core on Azure.

  • Develop PowerApps, plugins, custom workflows, and Power Automate flows.

  • Integrate systems using Azure Service Bus, Messaging Queue, and SSIS.

  • Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure best development practices.

  • Collaborate with business teams and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

  • Manage full SDLC activities design, code, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance applications.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 5+ years of software development experience with Power Platform and .NET technologies.

  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core (8), and Azure cloud services.

  • Experience with SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and Azure DevOps.

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and modern development practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600) or Developer Associate (PL-400) certification.

  • Experience with PowerApps/Dynamics 365, PCF development, and Azure Platform as a Service (PaaS).

  • Prior experience in leading technical teams.
