Overview
We're looking for a Business Central Developer to own the development, customization, and integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This role will be the go-to technical lead for ERP enhancements, automation, and support-ensuring reliability, data integrity, and smooth operations. You'll work cross-functionally with business and IT stakeholders and report into the Business Intelligence Manager.




Key Responsibilities


ERP Development & Support




  • Customize and extend Business Central with AL; manage upgrades, patches, and version control.




  • Serve as the in-house ERP expert, providing troubleshooting and user support.




System Integration & Automation




  • Design, implement, and maintain integrations with Tracelink, TrueCommerce, Shopify, Dynamic Ship, and other systems.




  • Build workflows with Power Automate; manage APIs and middleware connections.




Process Improvement & BI Alignment




  • Partner with business leaders to streamline workflows and improve data flows.




  • Structure ERP data for reporting and Power BI analytics.




  • Support documentation, training, and ERP adoption.




Change Management




  • Lead ERP lifecycle activities-requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment.




  • Maintain documentation, release schedules, and version control.




Security & Compliance




  • Work with IT/compliance to enforce ERP data security, access policies, and audit trails.




  • Ensure ERP setup aligns with regulatory and industry requirements.






Qualifications


Required




  • 5+ years of Dynamics 365 Business Central development (AL, C/AL, .NET/C#, Visual Studio).




  • Hands-on experience with Power Automate and ERP integrations.




  • Strong background in ERP lifecycle management.




Preferred




  • Microsoft certifications (BC Developer, Power Platform, Azure, Functional Consultant).




  • Familiarity with Power BI, Fabric, Azure Data Factory, EDI, and Dynamics 365 Sales.




  • Experience in regulated industries; deep understanding of ERP data models.
