About the Position: The successful candidate will: enhance and deepen the Raymond Leasing relationship with National Accounts and S&SC's with the following job responsibilities:
  • Serve as conduit between Solutions & Support Centers and Corporate to understand expectations and ensure appropriate products/support is available. (Serves as face of Raymond leasing to S&SC network-Leasing "Champion")
  • Manage a staff (initially 2 direct reports) of Regional Leasing Program Advisors
  • Work closely with S&SCs to obtain feedback regarding market condition and appropriateness of products to meet market demand
  • Participate
  • Develop marketing materials/campaigns/messaging/training collaboratively with SSCs to effectively increase penetration of Raymond Leasing products. Provides input to establish appropriate goals by SSC
  • Attend sales calls as needed with S&SCs to provide technical expertise in complex lease structuring
  • Assist S&SC sales teams with the development and refinement of leasing structures
  • Conduct in-person visits SSC locations to build relationships with sales teams and coordinators to increase finance penetration in assigned sales territory
  • Develop Aftermarket relationships: coordination with dealers as to lease maturities and equipment purchase and/or return.
  • Establish relationships with National Account Managers to provide guidance and support for lease activity with major accounts
  • May serve as escalation point for negotiate documents by assisting S&SC sales teams and coordinators with customers' requests for exceptions
  • Conducts face to face quarterly business review with SSCs, including DOD progress and drives behavior to achieve stated objectives
  • Educate and coach sales professionals on RLC finance programs and the advantages of financing with RLC
  • Communicate and train S&SCs on the new Odessa lease origination and servicing system.
  • Drive and manage KPI's related to RLC such as dealer lease penetration and forklift returns upon maturity.
  • Ensure SSCs participation/effectiveness/compliance.
  • Serve as an escalation point in the resolution of customer issues related to invoicing, delinquency or other issues that cannot be resolved by RLC customer service
  • Assist in the generation of marketing campaigns, thought leadership, social media and training materials

About the Schedule:
  • Domestic Travel required
  • Position is based in Greene NY
  • Hybrid Schedule

About you:
  • A bachelor's degree is required (finance; accounting or business discipline
  • 6+ years of broad experience in sales, leasing, commercial banking
  • MBA is preferred as is experience in the material handling field
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills to interact with all levels of RLC organization as well as SSC organizations.
  • Negotiation skills to arrange documents, rates and leasing structures.
  • Sound credit skills necessary to evaluate customer creditworthiness.
  • Proficiency with business tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint

It would be great if you had:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Business or Finance)
  • Master's Degree
  • Experience in financing/leasing of forklift equipment.
  • High level of proficiency with math skills, ability to calculate lease payments, residual amounts, interest rates, etc.
  • Business insight to assess customer needs.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently or within a group; ability to develop relationships with peers, associates, dealers, current or potential customers, and teams cross functionally.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate thoughts when writing correspondence and when speaking with dealers, customers, or cross functional teams.
  • Excellent public speaking skills and the ability to present material in front of small or large groups.
  • General understanding of all classes of Raymond forklift equipment as well as understanding of other manufacturers and competitors' products.


About the total compensation package:

Salary - $107,000 - $137,000 per year. Compensation commensurate with selected candidates' qualifications.

Relocation - This position may qualify for relocation.
