VDart is seeking a Project Engineer - Construction Management to assist in the management of assigned projects and ensure compliance with budgetary, scheduling, and safety goals. This role supports construction work performed by contractors and vendors at project sites and contributes to the successful delivery of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess productivity, schedule adherence, work quality, and safety performance on assigned projects.
- Participate in walkdowns of planned work, validate completion against design requirements, and review contractor payment requests.
- Verify constructability, ensure proper resource allocation, monitor field status, and resolve project issues.
- Coordinate project activities with vendors, suppliers, regulatory agencies, local officials, and the company.
- Assist with scope control, budget oversight, technical issue resolution, performance reporting, scheduling, and work-in-progress monitoring.
- Interface with landowners, local regulators, and state agencies as required.
- Reinforce safety expectations, procedural compliance, lessons learned, corrective actions, and proper work behaviors for employees and contractors.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities including safety programs, engineering, construction, budget, analytics, and contract administration.
- Interface with the project s designated management committee.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in construction project management or engineering support.
- Knowledge of construction standards, scheduling, budgeting, and safety practices.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with large-scale energy, infrastructure, or utility construction projects.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance, permitting processes, and stakeholder coordination.
- Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools.
