You will lead the migration of legacy Oracle databases to AWS RDS, manage database infrastructure, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data workflows in a regulated environment.

You will lead the migration of legacy Oracle databases to AWS RDS, manage database infrastructure, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data workflows in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and tune Oracle databases to ensure high performance and availability
- Lead migrations from on-prem Oracle systems to AWS RDS
- Design and implement data pipelines and cloud-based integration solutions
- Support infrastructure and ETL processes across cloud and hybrid environments
- Collaborate with technical and scientific teams to support oncology research platforms
Required Skills & Experience
- 7-10 years as an Oracle DBA
- Hands-on experience migrating Oracle databases to AWS RDS
- In-depth understanding of Oracle architecture and performance tuning
- Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting (Shell, Python, etc.)
- Solid experience with data infrastructure and ETL in on-prem and cloud settings
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Preferred Experience
- Background in pharmaceutical or CRO environments
- Experience with cloud data engineering tools and practices
