AbInitio Developer

The ETL Ab Initio/ Informatica Developer will be responsible for consulting on complex initiatives within Database Engineering in the financial industry. This role involves analyzing and resolving multifaceted challenges, collaborating with client personnel, and leveraging extensive experience in ETL development and data migration to cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Database Engineering
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Database Engineering challenges
• Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel

Requirements

• 7+ years of solid experience working with ETL Informatica / Ab Initio development projects
• Proficiency in the Ab Initio Graphical Development Environment (GDE).
• Familiarity with Ab Initio MetaData Hub (MDH).
• Experience with Ab Initio EME (Enterprise Meta>Data Environment) and Control Center.
• Basic understanding of developing web services using Ab Initio Continuous Flows.
• Knowledge of Control-M Scheduler.
• 5+ years strong experience in ETL development of data pipelines/ETL for data ingestion, data preparation, data integration, data aggregation, feature engineering
• 4+ years of experience working with SQL Server database(s)
• 5+ years' experience migrating legacy data platforms to cloud and modern architecture
• 4+ years of Unix Shell scripting
• 3+ years of experience in ETL Workflows using Informatica.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• 3+ years of Agile experience
• Ability to present to multiple levels of management
• Experience analyzing large data sets, identifying trends, with the ability to articulate findings when presenting to key business stakeholders
