About the Role

Our client is seeking a Level 4 Software Instructor to lead the development and delivery of a hands-on training program for international clients. This role focuses on teaching software programming, patching, compiling, and testing for integration into a Command and Control Center system. You will support the development, installation, integration, and testing of software updates for the COBRA Command and Control Center for customer delivery, and then become the subject matter expert able to perform skills gap analysis and plan, develop and implement a series of courses to teach customer personnel to code and test software updates.
Key Responsibilities
  • Train personnel to identify and resolve software issues
  • Collaborate with software and integration teams to gain proficiency in system updates
  • Support software development, integration, and testing for customer delivery
  • Design and implement a structured training curriculum using ADDIE methodology
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and perform skills gap analysis
  • Report progress to the Training IPT Lead
  • Secret Clearance
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science + 10 years' experience (or Master's + 5 years)
  • Proficiency in at least two: C++, C, Java, HTML/XML, Fortran
  • Strong understanding of structured programming and Agile methodologies
  • Expertise in Instructional System Design (ISD) and ADDIE
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Military Instructor Certification (Navy, Army, USAF)
  • Experience with military system software integration
  • Hands-on knowledge of software testing and troubleshooting
