M9 Solutions is seeking a Network/Systems Engineer to work on a government contract for a client located in Sunnyvale, CA. An active Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities
  • Design and Implementation: The network engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining computer networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and the Internet.
  • Network Devices: Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
  • Network Security: The network engineer will ensure the security of the network by implementing firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security measures to protect against unauthorized access and malicious activity.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: The network engineer will troubleshoot and resolve network issues, perform routine maintenance tasks, and ensure that the network is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaboration and Communication: The network engineer will work with other teams, such as IT and cybersecurity, to ensure that network infrastructure meets business needs and will communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Staying Up-to-Date with Technology: The network engineer will stay current with the latest network technologies, trends, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve the network infrastructure and services.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Master's degree and 3+ years experience, or a bachelor's degree with 5+ years experience.
  • Experience with a wide application of principles, theories, and concepts in the field.
  • Ability to provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems with imaginative and thorough solutions
  • Able to work under general direction, with results reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives; failure to achieve results typically causes serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources.
  • Ability to communicate frequently with internal and external customer contacts, representing the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects


Full-Time Employee Compensation
  • M9 Solutions' pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include, but are not limited to, responsibilities of the position, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity, location, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Salary Range

$60,000 - $180,000 USD
