Our client is seeking an Observability Dashboard Engineer with expertise in building and optimizing monitoring dashboards, translating business requirements into actionable visual insights, and working with modern observability tools. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Grafana, Prometheus, and Python, along with a solid understanding of cloud metrics and monitoring best practices.

Must Haves:

• 8+ years of proven experience in system observability and dashboard creation
• 3+ years of expertise with Google Cloud Services and their associated metrics
• Strong knowledge of metrics, monitoring best practices, and business KPI tracking
• Grafana expertise for dashboard creation and visualization
• Experience with Prometheus and PromQL for metrics collection and querying
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills using Python
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with Dash and Posit for interactive dashboards
• Cloud or observability tool certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Certified)
• Experience with additional monitoring tools (ELK Stack, Datadog, etc.)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain monitoring dashboards to track system and business metrics
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective observability solutions
• Implement best practices for metrics collection, alerting, and monitoring
• Integrate observability dashboards with cloud platforms and existing monitoring tools
• Troubleshoot and optimize dashboard performance and accuracy
