Short Description

Monitor and manage webcasts of Commission hearings. Tasks include ensuring that streaming and audiovisual equipment function for live webcasts; cameras (if used), microphones and related equipment are appropriately documenting the hearing; live management of sound and video of webcast including camera selection; troubleshooting; managing virtual witnesses through Teams and by telephone.

Hands-on recent experience (within the past two years) in broadcast studio work such as producing TV/radio news programs or multi camera presentations at complex events such as conferences; ability to follow basic elements of a hearing such as its beginning, ending, breaks and confidential sessions.

Full Job Description -

Must be ON SITE (required) for every hearing. Most weeks that may not be every day, but SCC will need maintenance checks, etc.

Average days on site per week will be around 3 days. SCC manager can go over the schedule if there is interest in interviewing but bottom line - there will be some weeks that the contractor will be working 40 hrs and some weeks will be less than 40 - again, it will depend on 12 Commission hearings they will be covering/recording in the 3-month duration. No plans to extend once hearings conclude in January 2026.

Required Skills

  • Experience with Multi Camera production such as broadcast TV or live streaming of events.
  • Experience with Webcasting using streaming software.
  • Experience with Audio/video experience with microphones, video cameras.
  • Experience with webcasting of public meetings such as General Assembly, board hearings, and court cases.
