Join our dynamic team as a Broadcast Infrastructure Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting our broadcast and IT systems. With a focus on ensuring 100% on-air uptime, this position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, 24/7/365 environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for broadcast and IT systems, assisting both studio personnel and remote users.
- Ensure seamless broadcast operations by maintaining and troubleshooting facilities and studios.
- Review system logs and perform necessary software and firmware updates.
- Address and resolve endpoint, server, and networking issues, escalating when needed.
- Document and manage incidents using ServiceNow, while supporting infrastructure projects.
- Install, configure, and support broadcast and production software and hardware.
- Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in a 24/7/365 setting.
Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in a broadcast or media setting.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in broadcast, IT, and network systems.
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux OS, MS Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Familiarity with data center environments and server support.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CLI management and scripting.
- Hands-on experience with broadcast consoles and IP-based A/V systems.
- Knowledge of satellite downlink operations and media encoding devices.
- Ability to read and create schematics and diagrams using tools like AutoCAD and Visio.
