Description
Robert Half is currently working with a company in the Madison area to help them hire an experienced Salesforce Administrator. This position is responsible for overseeing the ongoing development and optimization of a Salesforce CRM platform to align with business goals. Collaborating with key stakeholders across departments, the role ensures the system functions effectively to enhance processes such as sales, customer service, and marketing efforts. The individual in this role will combine technical expertise, administrative proficiency, and analytical skills to ensure the Salesforce platform is consistently maintained, supported, and improved upon to meet organizational needs.
This is a Direct/Permanent Hire role that will require a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary system administrator for a Salesforce instance.
- Build and refine dynamic reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights and enhance user productivity.
- Manage daily system administration tasks, including account maintenance, workflows, and data updates.
- Conduct regular audits of the system, monitor data integrity, and prepare for platform upgrades.
- Oversee data integrations and external data flows into Salesforce.
- Evaluate incoming development requests, define project scopes, and manage implementation timelines.
- Create processes that enhance platform administration and change management in partnership with leadership teams.
- Train new users and support skill development across the organization to maximize platform adoption.
- Serve as the key liaison between users, vendors, and internal technical teams to address system needs.
- Collaborate with end-users to document and refine technical and business requirements.
- Continuously seek opportunities to identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements in sales and service operations.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards for Salesforce usage, supporting data accuracy and consistency.
Requirements
Required Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce administrator.
- Detailed understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including app customization, formula development, workflow automation, and data management.
- Strong expertise in project management and maintaining a collaborative approach.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Analytical thinker with robust problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage constructively at all organizational levels.
- Ability to distill complex requirements into actionable plans and reconcile conflicting requests.
- In-depth knowledge of how changes impact the Salesforce platform and related systems or processes.
- Track record of designing and implementing new processes with successful user adoption outcomes.
- Experience completing data-driven projects with measurable success in delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in business, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Salesforce Administrator certification strongly preferred.
