Job Details
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data/System Analyst to join our Data Engineering team, where you'll play a pivotal role in designing, analyzing, and optimizing data systems and pipelines. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, data engineers, and architects translating business data needs into scalable technical data solutions. This role demands a deep understanding of wealth management data domain, operational data processing, system integration, and agile delivery practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Analysis & Design
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and translate them into technical specifications for data engineering solutions. (e.g. API Swagger Document, Data Lineage Document)
- Design and document data flows, system interfaces, and integration points across platforms.
- Create test cases and assist unit or integration testing to ensure code quality.
- Support the development and maintenance of real-time and batch data pipelines.
- Ensure alignment with architecture and data governance standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and data consumers to understand data needs, data quality rules and data reconciliation actions
- Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and technical walkthroughs.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.
Quality & Delivery
- Define acceptance criteria and validate deliverables against data requirements
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and deployment of data solutions.
- Contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and agile ceremonies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in systems analysis, preferably within data engineering in Wealth Management domain.
- Strong understanding of operational data store practices, data mastering, ETL/ELT processes, AWS cloud platform, and API.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Cloud technologies (e.g., Iceberg, DynamoDB, Snowflake).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with data modeling and metadata management.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and compliance frameworks.
