In this role, you'll design and deliver high-impact dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI, enabling data-driven decisions across cybersecurity operations and executive leadership. Description: About the Role
We're looking for a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our Cybersecurity team. In this role, you'll design and deliver high-impact dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI, enabling data-driven decisions across cybersecurity operations and executive leadership. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI to support cybersecurity metrics and executive-level insights.
- Translate complex business requirements into intuitive and actionable visualizations.
- Ensure data integrity by validating outputs against source systems and databases.
- Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to align on data definitions, logic, and reporting standards.
- Conduct functional and regression testing during release cycles to ensure seamless user experience.
- Optimize dashboard performance through effective use of filters, parameters, and drill-down capabilities.
- Document dashboard logic, test cases, and validation procedures for audit, QA, and knowledge sharing.
- Lead the migration of legacy Tableau dashboards to Power BI, ensuring consistency and data fidelity.
- Participate in peer reviews and mentor junior developers on BI best practices and visualization standards.
- 4+ years of experience in BI development using Tableau and Power BI.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
- Experience with ETL processes and data modeling.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity metrics and reporting frameworks.
- Experience in financial services, particularly within large banking institutions.
- Demonstrated ability to drive data storytelling and influence decision-making through visual analytics.
