Full Stack Engineer

Piper Companies is hiring a Full Stack Engineer for a large Financial Services Company located in Cary, NC. The Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, documentation, testing, deployment, and production support of system components. The Full Stack Engineer will need to work hybrid in Cary, NC.

Responsibilities for the Full Stack Engineer:

• Design, develop, document, test, deploy, and support system components.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver projects end-to-end.
• Independently or collaboratively work on medium- to large-scale initiatives.
• Apply project management methodologies and system development lifecycle processes to complex IT projects.
• Elicit requirements from stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
• Adhere to established standards and methodologies.

Requirements for the Full Stack Engineer:

• Extensive experience with core Java or Scala.
• Proficiency in Big Data technologies such as Spark, Impala, and Hive, with a solid understanding of Hadoop infrastructure.
• Experience with Rule Engine technologies (e.g., IBM ODM, Drools), Hibernate, Spring, and Java Message Service (JMS).
• Background in Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Strong grasp of Data Structures, Design Patterns, and Frameworks.
• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform and Python.
• Test-Driven Development (TDD) experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) testing.
• Hands-on experience with database solution testing.
• Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL).

Compensation for the Full Stack Engineer:

• $105,000 - $140,000 base salary
