Summary
T2S Solutions is currently seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our Data Science efforts in support of the US military. This challenging role will identify and coordinate essential data collection and analysis areas in alignment with our organizational priorities. The Data Scientist role involves developing mechanisms to explore structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, analyzing and interpreting data using statistical techniques, and delivering technical reports.

T2S Solutions is currently seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our Data Science efforts in support of the US military. This challenging role will identify and coordinate essential data collection and analysis areas in alignment with our organizational priorities. The Data Scientist role involves developing mechanisms to explore structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, analyzing and interpreting data using statistical techniques, and delivering technical reports.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Filter and "clean" data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Identify areas for data
- Work alongside data analyst lead to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives
- Provide weekly written updates
- Seek continued improvement for systems and process
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; works well in team situations; prefers hands-on tasks
- Handle all information responsibly and in accordance with regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and 5+ years of related experience
- Experience in relevant competencies showing demonstrated increased responsibilities and successes
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Understanding of emerging data management designs (ie Data Fabric, Data Mesh etc.)
- Understanding of Data Centric Security and Military message type (ie VMF, Link-16, USMTF, etc.)
- Working knowledge of XML and JSON
