Systems Engineer F-22 Diagnostics & Health Management (Mid-Level & Senior)

The F-22 Systems Engineering team is seeking a Systems Engineer F-22 Diagnostics & Health Management (Mid-Level & Senior) to analyze and manage F-22 maintenance data in Berkeley, MO. The successful candidate will be responsible for working directly with Subject Matter Experts, Suppliers, Field Service Representatives and the US Air Force to refine Modernization and Sustainment practices across the entire F-22 fleet. The F-22 Raptor program is well positioned to provide long-term growth opportunities and is committed to an employee focused culture and presence at the St. Louis site supporting the premier 5th generation Air Force fighter.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions
  • Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces
  • Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture
  • Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success
  • Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes
  • Resolves cross-functional technical issues

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • Experience working directly with one, or preferably more, of the following aircraft subsystems: Radar, Life Support, Auxiliary Power Supply, Fire Prevention, Environmental Control Systems
  • Experience utilizing Data Analytics approaches to help track trends, coordinate maintenance, and influence parts replacement cycles
  • Experience working with suppliers, subject matter experts, and field support representatives to identify aircraft availability and health of fleet improvements
  • Experience with database architectures and Front Ends (i.e. Tableau), structured query language (SQL), block flow diagrams, aircraft maintenance flow activities

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.) (Level 4)
  • Experience leading Diagnostics & Health Management (DHM) activities/projects
  • Experience with Integrated Maintenance / Information Systems processes
  • Big-Data digital aircraft Data Analysis experience
  • Radar system built-In-Test (BIT) subsystem debugging
  • Coordinating maintenance and influencing parts replacement cycles.

Summary Pay Range Mid-Level (Level 3): $97,750- $132,250

Summary Pay Range Senior (Level 4): $119,850- $162,150
