Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Oracle Financials Cloud or E-Business Suite (EBS) to bridge the gap between finance stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will analyze business requirements, design effective solutions, and support implementation and optimization across financial modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
This role combines functional understanding of financial processes with a solid grasp of Oracle systems and integrations to drive digital transformation and process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for Oracle Financials modules, including GL, AP, AR, FA, and Cash Management.
Translate business needs into functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for implementation using Oracle Cloud or EBS.
Support system configuration, testing (UAT/SIT), debugging, and validation to ensure accuracy and performance of financial workflows.
Partner with finance and accounting teams to enhance business processes, ensure compliance with SOX, IFRS, and optimize reporting.
Assist in integrations between Oracle Financials and other enterprise systems (Procurement, HCM, etc.) via Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or REST APIs.
Coordinate and execute data migrations, system upgrades, and new feature rollouts.
Develop and maintain documentation including process maps, functional design documents, and user guides.
Provide end-user training, post-implementation support, and continuous improvement recommendations.
Collaborate with BI teams to automate financial reporting using tools such as Oracle BI Publisher or Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
Stay updated on Oracle Cloud Financials updates, industry best practices, and regulatory changes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Techno-Functional Consultant in Oracle Financials (Cloud or EBS).
Strong understanding of financial processes budgeting, consolidation, cash management, and accounting principles.
Hands-on experience working with Oracle Financials modules and familiarity with system configurations and data structures.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities to collaborate across finance and IT teams.
Oracle certification in Financials or related modules highly preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations and migrations from EBS to Cloud.
Familiarity with OIC, SOA Suite, and REST API integrations.
Exposure to Oracle APEX and PL/SQL for data analysis or reporting.
Knowledge of financial compliance standards (SOX, IFRS) and reporting automation.
Experience with analytics and dashboarding tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
