The SAP HR / SuccessFactors Employee Central Functional Analyst is responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and supporting the City’sSAP HCM and SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC)environments.
This role focuses on core HR processes, data integrity, and integration between SAP and EC, ensuring accurate employee records, seamless data replication, and strong alignment with business and compliance needs.
In addition to HR and EC responsibilities, the analyst should have a working knowledge of SAP Payroll to provide backup functional support during payroll cycles, assist with issue analysis, and ensure accurate data flow across HR and Payroll systems.
· Configure and maintain SAP HR modules including Personnel Administration (PA) and Organizational Management (OM).
· Support SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) configuration, including data models, workflows, foundation objects, and business rules.
· Monitor and troubleshoot data replication and integrationsbetween EC and SAP HCM (via Integration Center or PTP).
· Ensure data consistency between HR master data, positions, and payroll records.
· Collaborate with HR and IT teams to analyze business requirements, document solutions, and implement approved system changes.
· Provide backup payroll functional support, assisting with master data issues, pre/post-payroll validation, and testing during payroll cycles.
· Participate in HRSP testing, regression testing, and system upgrades
