Position: Technical Lead AI/ML & Data Platform
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Job Description:
- Coordinate multiple workstreams in parallel, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Conduct and facilitate daily stand-ups across global time zones, maintaining visibility and accountability.
- Deeply understand business domains and the technical architecture, enabling informed decision-making and risk identification.
- Collaborate with data engineers, AI/ML scientists, analysts, and product teams to translate goals into actionable plans.
- Track progress using Agile or hybrid methodologies, escalating blockers and resolving dependencies.
- Own the lifecycle of tasks from planning through execution, delivery, and retrospectives.
- Perform technical reviews of data pipelines and ETL processes, identifying architectural or data quality issues.
- Evaluate and optimize data aggregation logic while ensuring alignment with business semantics.
- Contribute to the design and development of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and workflows involving Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Ability to create Tableau reports and dashboards aligned with business KPIs.
Required Skills:
- Strong grasp of data pipelines, data architecture, and analytics platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Tableau).
- Experience in reviewing and optimizing data transformations, aggregations, and business logic.
- Hands-on familiarity with LLMs and practical implementation of RAG-based AI systems.
- Familiarity with AI/ML workflows, model lifecycle, and experimentation frameworks.
- Experience managing complex, multi-track projects.
- Skilled in project tracking tools like Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and coordination across technical and non-technical teams.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional, globally distributed teams.
Additional Skills:
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) and modern DevOps practices.
- Capable of creating executive-level dashboards and summaries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Understanding of semantic layers and their role in consistent business logic interpretation.
