Job Description:
- The Program Candidateager will lead and oversee complex government programs from inception through close-out, ensuring alignment with stXXgic objectives, organizational policies, and I&IT best practices.
- The role requires deep experience in public sector program and project management, stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, and budget planning.
Requirement/Must Have:
- In-depth knowledge of Government TB/MBC and SPP processes.
- Expertise in preparing Request for Bids (RFB) and developing business and technical requirements.
- Experience with Government architecture gating processes and I&IT methodologies.
- Knowledge of justice-related government projects and Ministry IT policies.
- Experience developing and leading program strategy from inception to operations transition.
- Proven ability to understand I&IT executive expectations and translate them into deliverables.
- Experience managing program risk, cost, governance, and performance.
- Ability to provide a portfolio-level view of project inter-dependencies and external dependencies.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and talent development skills.
- Experience developing complex budgets involving multiple funding sources.
- Ability to identify, articulate, and mitigate program and organizational risks.
- Experience facilitating stakeholder consultation and consensus building.
- Ability to lead change management strategies and build support for transformation initiatives.
- Proven relationship-building and team collaboration capabilities.
- Experience contributing to program life cycle improvements based on lessons learned.
- Commitment to organizational standards and program management best practices.
Experience:
- 5+ years' experience as a Program Candidateager or in a related leadership role.
- Experience managing program and project scope, schedules, deliverables, and budgets.
- Skilled in cost forecasting, reporting, and maintaining fiscal control.
- Deep understanding of project/program methodologies and standard practices.
- Experience gathering business and technical requirements to support program planning.
- Leadership in directing project teams and coordinating deliverables.
- Proven success resolving resourcing and interpersonal conflicts.
- Skilled in identifying and mitigating risks proactively.
- Experience presenting and escalating risks to senior executives.
- Facilitation of steering committees and stakeholder forums.
- Experience promoting adherence to I&IT standards and methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Candidateagement or related field.
- PMP certification (preferred).
Should Have:
- Experience leading organizational change initiatives and performance evaluations.
- Familiarity with procurements, managed services, and vendor management.
- Experience with APIs, solution integration, customer platforms, and agile delivery.
- Experience developing and delivering transformation roadmaps.
- Background in end-to-end solution integration and platform modernization.
- Experience with executive-level presentations.
Skills:
- 10+ years of experience working with public sector healthcare organizations.
- Strong understanding of public sector program/project management practices.
- Knowledge of PMI standards and government methodologies.
- Experience managing large, complex IT health-related programs.
- Understanding of AODA regulations and accessibility compliance.
Qualification or Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Candidateagement or a relevant field.
- PMP certification (preferred).
