Job Description:
As part of the team, you will be tackling cutting edge issues that come with cloud-based infrastructures, platform resiliency requirements, security, and data migrations at scale. These challenges are regularly given on tight timelines, and we are looking for experienced engineering team members able to make the right decisions and drive them to execution. This position will serve as a primary contributor on the team as the team navigates the changing technology landscape.
Senior level positions are a key element of our team s composition as they serve as initiative leads and problem solvers.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in highly scalable, distributed software components
- Proficiency in server-side Java Virtual Machine programming languages, especially Java
- Proven experience of cloud application architecture and engineering, AWS is preferred
- Professional experience with Java based web services, RESTful framework and GraphQL, and both relational and non-relational database platforms
- Experience with large scale distributed system architecture
- Ability to trace through various services and determine root cause when issues occur
- Knowledge of common performance issues, as well as a working experience with logs, monitoring tools
- Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and Agile Development/Testing practices and methodologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills and a strong teamwork ethic
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a cross-functional team
