Description:

The TRANSACT Data Migration developer to build and execute ETL processes for data migration between R11 and R25 systems. The role involves writing Pick Basic / Java migration scripts, validating data accuracy and resolving technical issues to ensure smooth cutover into the target system.

Responsibilities:

Uses ETL tools and scripts to extract data from R11 legacy system.* Transform the extracted data into the required formats, and load the transformed data into the new R22/25 system.* Conduct rigorous unit testing to validata data accuracy and completeness.* Performs reconciliations to identify and resolve any data discrepancy or errors.* Collaborates with business analysts and product owners to formulate requirements into designs and solutions, fix programs, execute migrations and validate accuracy.* Documents new or changed software solutions in source, confluence/JIRA, where appropriate * Communicates progress/issues to line management * Performs Unit Testing and supports SIT/UAT team during testing and preparation of Rollout.* Participates in daily stand-up meetings

Qualifications:

Resource has strong programming skills in R11 and R22 - Can demonstrate knowledge as a programmer in Temenos environment. Mandatory proficiency in JBASE/Pickbasic for R11 developments, and TAFJ/Java/PickBasic for R22 developments* Resource has strong knowledge on all the legacy modules migrated from R11 (CU,AC,Securities, LD,LI,CO,PD,MM,FT,FX,LC,MD,DX)* Has excellent understanding of Temenos Design Studio, TAFJ and Oracle database * Has experience with Bitbucket and DesignStudio tools.* Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.* works detail-oriented and has an analytical mindset and critical thinking * understands the software development life cycle process and delivers * Exposure to Agile development methodologies is a plus
