Role: Supply Chain Technical Architect
Location: Las Vegas NV, Remote
Employment type: Contract
The Supply Chain Technical Architect will serve as a subject matter expert in supply chain technologies including procurement, inventory management, ordering and receiving. The role will serve as a strategic technical partner - evaluating, designing, and implementing technology solutions aligned with business needs and the broader enterprise architectural vision. They will partner with business stakeholders, technology leaders, implementation partner(s), and Agile delivery teams to lead a supply chain transformation initiative. They will offer in-depth technical expertise and provide configuration management and technical dependency analysis. This role will configure the solution with the workflows, reports, interfaces, configurations, extensions, and forms necessary to meet requirements. The role will support interfaces to existing and new systems, designing optimal solutions as business needs dictate.
The ideal candidate will have experience in ERP implementations, integrations with Oracle and excellent problem-solving skills. Someone with experience in a large-scalefood & beverage or hospitality-specific implementation is strongly preferred. Experience with Oracle SCM is preferred. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Evaluate supply chain solutions for business opportunities around recipe management, waste management and inventory management. Leverage a mix of consultation skills, technical expertise, and industry domain knowledge to effectively implement supply chain technology solutions to achieve business results.
- Facilitate sessions with business partners and other stakeholders to elicit and document requirements.
- Prepare functional and technical specifications for reports, integrations, conversions, and extensions.
- Ensure that capabilities are delivered through optimal system configurations, settings, and controls.
- Partner with business stakeholders and Solutions Architect on product vision, requirements definition (functional and non-functional), and capability analysis to ensure the product features support desired outcomes.
- Design ERP and supply chain applications as needed to meet business needs (Order Management. Product Management, warehouse management, et. al.)
- Provide ongoing support for supply chain applications, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Lead technical teams to identify and address system performance issues.
- Conduct system testing and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data and adherence to business requirements.
- Provide training on supply chain applications and best practices.
- Develop and maintain user documentation, including process manuals and training materials.
Required Skills:
- Experience supporting, configuring, and implementing supply chain ERP modules.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle SCM functionality, configurations, and best practices.
- Experience with full lifecycle implementations, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Proficiency in configurations, integrations, and reporting using for supply chain technologies.
- 10+ years of ERP and Configuration Management experience.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes ideally in the hospitality industry
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and work as part of a cross-functional enterprise team.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- BS/BA and 5 years of relevant experience -OR-
- MS/MA or higher and 3 years of relevant experience -OR-
- Demonstrated experience applying theoretical/fundamental computer science concepts through the design, development, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of computer infrastructure and networks
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Certifications
- Experience with enterprise recipe management software.
- Agile Certifications (eg, Scrum etc.)
- Proven record of successful supply chain ERP implementations
