Description
We are looking for an experienced Technical Product Owner to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, you will guide product development efforts and collaborate closely with developers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to lead product creation from concept to completion while working on cutting-edge cloud technologies.
Responsibilities:
Define and plan tasks for development teams, ensuring alignment with product goals and timelines.
Oversee all phases of product creation, including design, development, and deployment.
Collaborate with architecture and development teams to set priorities and provide technical guidance.
Manage and refine product backlogs, ensuring work items are well-defined and ready for development.
Lead backlog refinement sessions and present completed work to stakeholders during demonstrations.
Utilize tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira to create and manage tasks for the development team.
Develop and maintain cloud-based applications using Microsoft Azure technologies, including function apps, logic apps, and durable functions.
Work with Confluent Kafka and similar tools to optimize application performance.
Engage with clients and end users to gather requirements and translate them into actionable product features.
Coordinate and oversee code deployment processes to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Technical Product Owner or similar role.
Strong background in Azure development, including experience with function apps, logic apps, and durable functions.
Proficiency in C# and .NET development.
Familiarity with Confluent Kafka and its applications in cloud-based solutions.
Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks, such as SAFe, and the ability to lead refinement sessions.
Expertise in using Azure DevOps or Jira for task and backlog management.
Solid understanding of cloud-based and on-premise application architectures.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
