Client is looking for an experienced eDiscovery  Analyst / Litigation Technology Project Manager to serve as the eDiscovery Specialist. This role will report to the Director of eDiscovery and Litigation Support Technology. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary eDiscovery point person, providing logistics support and technical troubleshooting.

Skills and Experience_

  • eDiscovery certification —  e.g.,
    • Certified E- Discovery Specialist (CEDS) or
    • Certified Information Privacy Professional for the United States (CIPP/U) — preferred but not required.
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of eDiscovery and litigation case-management principles,
  • Extensive experience and familiarity with ESI Protocols and other data delivery or discovery exchange guidelines (SEC, DOJ, CFTC, FINRA, etc.),
  • Must have fluency with structured load files and the technical specifications for processing and producing documents in legal matters and are tech-savvy.
  • It will be good to have some Project Manager experience.

Responsibilities_

  • Provide additional remote eDiscovery support for the New York office.
  • Support case teams’ litigation technology needs within all phases of the EDRM.
  • Directly manage outside eDiscovery vendors (review contracts, provide pricing, discuss and scope projects, troubleshoot when issues arise).
  • Organize eDiscovery databases (Relativity, Everlaw, Reveal, Brainspace, Opus2, TrialDirector, etc) and make recommendations for efficiency and best practices.
  • Maintain technical documentation on matters where necessary (collection log, document processing and exceptions logs, decision logs, and document production logs).
  • Be a passionate advocate for analytics and automation.
  • Remain current in trends in eDiscovery and litigation support, and regularly survey and implement best practices in these areas.
