Job Details
Role: Support SME Analyst
Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)
Type: 6+ Month Contract
Interview: Teams, Final Round In-Person (MUST be local)
Required Experience:
- 7 12 years of experience in the fixed income domain (investment banking only-NOT retail banking)
- Strong understanding of Repos, Securities Lending, Tri-party, pledge in/out, and Borrow Loans
- Thorough grasp of Fixed Income trade lifecycle-front to Back
- Expertise in post-trade processes and back-office systems for financing trades
Preferred/Bonus Skills:
- Experience with FIS Loanet, Broadridge Impact, or Global One
- Good understanding of Stock Loans for Equities
- Working knowledge of Accounting, P&L, and Settlement/Clearing
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and SQL
Responsibilities:
- Handle support requests from business, collaborate with developers & back-office teams
- Proactively automate or redesign processes to reduce incidents
- Work on regulatory & industry-driven projects
- Take ownership of incidents with minimal supervision
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and vendors
- Assist in both RTB (Run-The-Bank) and CTB (Change-The-Bank) initiatives
