Salary: $70.00 USD Hourly - $95.00 USD Hourly
Description:

Role: ServiceNow Developer

Type: Contract (Fully On-Site)

Location: Confidential site, Northern Virginia

Department: Technical Services

Reports to: Deputy Director, Technical Services

Purpose:
  • Architect, develop, implement, integrate, manage and administer ServiceNow solutions for large-scale enterprise environments


Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure core ServiceNow modules (e.g. Service Catalog, Record Producers, Knowledge Management, Notifications, Assignment Rules, SLA/workflow) based on user stories
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support operational and management needs
  • Execute unit tests to validate functionality against acceptance criteria
  • Participate in peer reviews and provide constructive feedback on fellow developers' work
  • Produce and update technical documentation and ensure all ServiceNow certifications remain current with platform releases
  • Collaborate with architects, project managers and business analysts throughout the software development lifecycle


Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience implementing major ServiceNow applications/modules
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform administration and configuration
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain at least a Public Trust clearance; TS/SCI or ability to achieve it is a plus


Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)


Work Environment & Physical Demands:
  • Fully on-site role at a secure government contractor facility
  • Sedentary position requiring prolonged computer use, documentation, and collaboration via digital communication tools


Certifications & Training:
  • Complete one ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification within six months of hire
