Job Description: Mechatronics design engineer
Location: Raymond, Ohio

Requires a BS or MS in engineering.
Expertise in Automotive Mechatronics Product designs like key-fobs, Steering wheel switches, Key Ignition START/STOP buttons
Able to design & integrate PCB boards, connectors with mechanical plastic enclosures considering proper packaging
requirements
Highly Proficient in use of CREO & NX tools for complex advanced A-class surface & solid modeling, Plastic products, Die cast &
springs for 3D modeling
Proficient in Plastic parts2D Drawing detailing with proper GD&T controls using CREO tool.
Expertise to apply proper design guide lines for multi-shots plastic designs , snap designs, ribs, screw mattings features, Bearing
or guide rail designs, Linkage mechanisms, Silicone rubbers, sealing, springs, bearing component design .
Knowledge & experience to create and apply using CREO Mechanism, View reps, exploded states etc.
Perform complete product level Tolerance stack up analysis.
Sound knowledge to understand, Interpret results and suggest feedbacks during DFM's, FEA, Mold flow analysis meetings
Experience in Handlings mechanical tools to build, test & improve prototype product builds
Experience with Light Pipe, Light guide design, Tact switch selections, Design for customer specification like packaging overall
size, Button travels, HMI interface, Styling surfaces, strengthening, material saver features
Ability create a new 3D CAD model concept for the product and modifying the 3D CAD model (Solid & surface) and assembly to
perform changes.
