Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Springfield, MO (Occasional travel to Coffeyville, KS)
Duration: 36 + Months Contract/Temp with the possibility of extension
Shift: 1st Shift

Job Description:
We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to provide day-to-day operational support for our computing environment. This role involves hands-on support, troubleshooting, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations of IT systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide onsite Tier 2 deskside support for end users.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues following established procedures and knowledge base articles.
Perform routine tasks such as imaging computers, replacing printer toner, and disposing of outdated assets.
Update and maintain asset records, inventory, and other operational documentation.
Communicate effectively via email and maintain logs, reports, and records.
Monitor and maintain equipment, supplies, and data supporting IT processes.
Identify problems outside the scope of established procedures and report them appropriately.

Requirements:
Knowledge of computing and networking concepts and fundamentals.
Proficiency with standard desktop applications (Microsoft Office) and internet/intranet functions.
Basic understanding of computer security principles.
1+ year IT experience preferred; entry level candidates will be considered.
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in IT or related field preferred.
Ability to follow standard procedures and document processes accurately.
Must be able to pass a drug test (due to occasional operation of small vehicles like utility carts).
Must be able to wear safety footwear (metatarsals) on the first day.
Business casual dress code.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
Basic hardware maintenance (computers, printers, peripherals).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
