PCB Design Engineer (Electrical Engineering Focus)
Overview
We re looking for a talented PCB Design Engineer with a strong foundation in electrical engineering to join our product development team. This role blends hands-on PCB layout expertise with broader system-level electrical design responsibilities. Ideal candidates will bring experience with Altium Designer and a passion for creating reliable, manufacturable, and high-performance circuit board assemblies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and senior designers to develop PCBAs for both AC and DC applications across new and legacy product lines.
- Execute layout tasks including board sizing, component placement, signal routing, and power/ground plane design, all optimized for cost, manufacturability, thermal performance, and testability.
- Apply and refine design rules for each project, resolving constraint violations and ensuring compliance with internal standards.
- Present PCB designs during technical reviews and generate documentation packages aligned with internal engineering protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in a technical discipline (BSEE or equivalent preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in PCB design and layout.
- Proficiency with professional-grade PCB design tools, with a strong preference for Altium Designer.
- Solid understanding of electronic components and circuit behavior.
