Job Details

Netflix Games is looking for experienced Marketing Artists to help us grow our global games portfolio through UA (User Acquisition) and ASO (App Store Optimization) initiatives. This role is a part of the Games Optimization Marketing (GOM) team and will primarily focus on the design and production of creative assets, both hands-on and managed through external partners. For that purpose, the Marketing Artist will work closely with UA/ASO Managers, fellow Marketing Artists, globally situated cross-functional partners and creative agencies. This role will act across regions and have strong ties to teams in Helsinki, Finland, and the US.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce video and static creative assets for UA/ASO purposes across our portfolio of 2D and 3D mobile games
  • Work closely with our UA/ASO Managers to help find creative direction for their requests and deliver high quality results with every asset
  • Understand asset performance, key points for success per channel and creative type and continuously apply learnings to develop assets with very high performance potential
  • Help prepare outsourced creative productions and provide feedback to external agencies from an artistic and technical perspective
  • Ensure art style consistency across assets and correct implementation of brand guidelines and IPs
  • Align and collaborate with teams across the organization such as Product Discovery & Promotion, Product Marketing, Internal Studios, and more
  • Continuously look for improvements in our processes, tools and communication to increase productivity and overcome technical challenges

Requirements

  • Vast experience in the design and production of strongly performing UA/ASO creatives, ideally in the context of games, along with a creative portfolio to back it up
  • Highly effective communication skills and autonomy to provide creative feedback to external agencies, respond to and manage input from stakeholders, propose and describe clear solutions, pitch new ideas, etc.
  • Performance oriented mindset with the desire to constantly test new creative assets, understand their performance and apply new learnings
  • Exceptional graphic design, motion graphics, animation and editing skill sets with a keen eye for compositions and typography including practical experience in relevant software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere)
  • 3D generalist skill set allowing you to work with relevant source assets such as character models and manage basic rigging, lighting, posing and animation in relevant software (e.g. Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya)
  • Basic understanding and some practical experience in Unity to potentially set up scenes in-engine
  • Fundamental understanding of the App Store and Google Play and common social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, etc. and how to best design creatives per channel
  • Proactive attitude to contribute to meetings, participate in brainstorms, do your own research, pull information when required, etc.
  • Ability to work across multiple projects at any given time while retaining a clear overview of timelines and project requirements
  • A sense of ownership to proactively propose the best course of action while also taking other's perspectives into account
  • Accepting and very welcoming of feedback from various stakeholders to help improve on your work and career path
  • Willingness and flexibility to work across different time zones between Helsinki, Finland, and the US

Location

  • Remote USA, Canada
  • EST preferred, (ideal working hours 8am-5pm EST)
