Job Details

Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Duration: 8 months

Location: Austin, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Review, analyze, and evaluate complex business systems and user needs in support of Medicaid IT-contracted systems.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams (Architecture, Project Delivery, Application Sustainment, vendors).
  • Perform advanced data analysis on raw data to support business decision-making and system enhancements.
  • Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and validation for system modernization and enhancement initiatives.
  • Support business process reengineering and identify technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop solution options, risk assessments, and financial analyses (cost/benefit, ROI, buy vs. build).
  • Provide project and product oversight within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment.
  • Support and oversee documentation and delivery of application enhancements for Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES).
  • Collaborate with multiple vendors and internal teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
  • Create, maintain, and govern project artifacts, processes, and documentation.

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience with Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems.
  • 3+ years of experience with Working in an Agile environment (preferably SAFe). Preferred
  • 3+ years of experience with Experience and knowledge of Texas HHSC processes as well as Texas Medicaid and CHIP systems. Preferred
