About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Motion Designer to join our growing creative team. In this role, you will design social-first graphics and motion content that drives engagement across major social platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with social, creative, and brand teams to bring concepts to life while staying on top of internet culture and performance trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce social-first content including short-form videos, motion graphics, static posts, carousels, stories, and other platform-native formats.

  • Create engaging visuals tailored for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), Threads, YouTube, Reddit, and LinkedIn.

  • Develop rough concepts, storyboards, and visual direction in collaboration with social and creative teams.

  • Apply a deep understanding of social media best practices, trends, and audience behavior to creative output.

  • Experiment, iterate, and optimize creative assets using performance insights and data.

  • Ensure all creative work aligns with brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Stay current with internet culture, design trends, and emerging social formats.

Required Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience creating social-first graphics and motion design for a brand or agency.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing work across multiple social platforms.

  • Proficiency in design and motion tools, specifically Figma and Adobe After Effects.

  • Solid understanding of visual design, motion principles, and how content performs on social platforms.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency.

  • Comfortable working in a Virtual First / remote environment.

  • A test-and-learn mindset with the ability to adapt quickly based on feedback and performance metrics.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with fast-paced social or digital-first brands.

  • Familiarity with accessibility and compliance standards for digital content.
