Job Details

Description
The primary responsibility of this role is optimizing the security of the company's cloud infrastructure and services. They will develop and implement security policies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Additionally, they collaborate with IT teams to identify and mitigate security threats, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and systems. This role requires strong technical expertise in cloud security, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
What you'll be doing
Develop and implement cloud security policies, procedures, and best practices in alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Assist with the design and implementation of cloud security solutions, including a Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and administer workload protection modules to stakeholders.
Conduct regular security assessments and configuration scans to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
Collaborate with other teams to integrate security controls into the cloud architecture and infrastructure design.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to cloud security engineers and analysts.
Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and industry trends related to cloud security.
Participate in incident response and forensic investigations as needed.
Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud security architecture, configurations, and processes.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure the effectiveness of cloud security measures.
What You Bring
Extensive experience in cloud security, with a focus on designing a secure well architected cloud environment.
Strong understanding of networking protocols, architecture, and infrastructure components.
Certifications such as CISSP, CCSK, CCNP Security, CEH, or similar are highly desirable.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex network security issues and recommend effective solutions.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with cloud security, containerization, and microservices architecture is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
