Do you seek to contribute to innovative silicon technologies used in Apple products? Come to Apple and be at the center of the action on new custom silicon product development for Apple's groundbreaking products! In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for working with the Product Engineering/Test/DFT teams to ensure successful launch of new products and mass production support of high volume SoCs powering Apple's world-class product lines! As an EPM within the HWTech organization, you will be responsible for planning, implementation, and ongoing support of silicon from the productization standpoint. This links closely to managing build schedules, test program releases, functional/structural testing, LVcc optimization and process maturity. The environment is dynamic and ever-changing; flexibility is a requirement. The ability to prioritize and react quickly is essential. The position includes working closely with multiple internal Engineering and Material teams. The goal is to provide engineering support for the development and validation of groundbreaking silicon material, spanning engineering design phases through production release and ramp.
Description - You will have key responsibilities that directly impact Apple's product line success. - Interface and drive closure of critical silicon issues with multi-functional teams to enable successful SoC mass production ramp. - Enable tight collaboration between DFT, Product Engineering/Test/Quality, Silicon Validation, Material Management, and Systems teams during NPI to finalize SoC performance targets and screen requirements. - Drive simple and effective processes from past lessons learned to avoid quality and execution issues early in development cycle. - Disciplined issue tracking, organizing and reporting of program risks, status and options for resolution to executive management. - Rapidly synthesize and communicate findings to senior leaders and proactively identify and resolve potential supply issues that can affect product strategy.

Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. in an Engineering field.
- Experience in SOC/ Chip Design/Validation, DFT, Test or Product Engineering.
- Experience working with SoCs in areas such as NPI or a high volume environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent communication & presentation skills.
- Driven and highly motivated.
- Must demonstrate ability to drive resolution of critical problems under pressure.
- Ability to understand and extract action plans from complex technical discussions and translate into succinct messaging for multi-functional and executive status reporting.
- Ability to connect the dots and identify gaps in process, planning and propose mitigations.
- Experience working in a dynamic multi-disciplined engineering environment, strong at multi-tasking, and real-time crisis management.
- Strong desire to own/drive project development using well defined metrics.
- Comfortable with fast paced schedule driven development.
- Experience working with foundries/OSATs/external vendors.
- Ability to function and progress actions in ambiguous situations .
- Technical Program Management/ Engineering Management experience.
