Job Description:
- We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Analyst to support, maintain, and enhance SharePoint environments, including SharePoint 2016 On-Premise and SharePoint Online.
- The role involves business analysis, solution design, system troubleshooting, and supporting migration to Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online.
- The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, along with hands-on experience in managing SharePoint solutions and related tools.
- Support Microsoft SharePoint environments, including SharePoint 2016 On-Premise and SharePoint Online.
- Perform business analysis and design to support the creation of SharePoint solutions.
- Provide first and second-level technical support for SharePoint-related issues, including user inquiries, system errors, and performance problems.
- Troubleshoot SharePoint site and application issues, identifying root causes and implementing timely solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, patch installations, and system configurations.
- Monitor SharePoint servers, services, and workflows to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Participate in testing and quality assurance activities for SharePoint solutions.
- Provide expertise in designing new processes for supporting Microsoft SharePoint and related systems.
- Guide business users on effective use of SharePoint for Enterprise Content Management.
- Support data validation and migration efforts during M365 and SharePoint Online Migration projects.
- Collaborate with government technical staff and other stakeholders on project implementation and support.
- University graduation in Computer Science or a related discipline with 4 years of relevant experience, OR
- 2-year diploma in Computer Science or a related discipline with 6 years of relevant experience, OR
- 1-year certificate in Computer Science or a related discipline with 7 years of relevant experience, OR
- Active professional certification/accreditation with 8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience as a Site Collection Administrator (minimum 2 years).
- Experience preparing and documenting materials for User Acceptance Testing (minimum 2 years).
- Experience troubleshooting forms and workflows (minimum 2 years).
- Experience using and supporting ShareGate (minimum 2 years).
- Experience with complex SharePoint projects involving managed metadata, workflows, forms, and UI customization (minimum 2 years).
- Experience with development, integration, and support of Microsoft SharePoint 2016 and Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online (minimum 2 years).
- Experience applying patches/updates to SharePoint environments (2 years).
- Experience developing integrated system and technical design specifications (2 years).
- Experience using PowerShell for managing Farm/Application/Site Collection/Site Features (2 years).
- Experience with disaster recovery testing (2 years).
- Experience with Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online admin portal, reporting, configuration, and administrative tasks (2 years).
- Experience with IT/IM policies, standards, and guidelines (1 year).
- Experience using Central Administration in a SharePoint environment (2 years).
- Experience upgrading SharePoint environments and migrating content (2 years).
- Bachelor s degree, diploma, or certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline (as specified above).
- Completion of mandatory training, including Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and Security Awareness Training (post-hire).
