Description

We are seeking an CAD Manager in the construction/contractor industry located in Scottsdale, Arizona. This role involves managing and coordinating all aspects of drafting and production standards including documentation, training of internal and external resources, and ensuring quality assurance of production documents. This role will also demand close coordination with software deployment and drafting resources.

Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain drafting and production standards and processes

Oversee the quality assurance processes of drafting and production

Train internal and external personnel on CAD and drafting standards and processes

Maintain accurate digital drawing file storage and archives

Manage assets and maintain CAD systems and software requirements

Coordinate with various individuals within the product development chain

Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD, Cloud Technologies, CAD - Computer Aided Drafting or Design, and Building Codes

Travel as required for field visits and other off-site events.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Application Development Project Manager/Lead in the construction/contractor industry
Proficient in AutoCAD, CAD - Computer Aided Drafting or Design, and Cloud Technologies
Comprehensive understanding of building codes and their application in project management
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and coordinate diverse teams
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions quickly
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Degree in Construction Management or a related field would be advantageous
Proven track record of managing large-scale projects from conception to completion
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Commitment to adhering to safety standards and company protocols.
