Location: Remote
A ServiceNow AppEngine Developer leads the design and development of custom applications on the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on App Engine capabilities and technical leadership, including Now Assiss AI.
Below are the typical responsibilities, qualifications, and skills for this role:
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of custom applications using AppEngine Studio and Templates.
- Design and implement complex workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts around core ITSM module.
- Establish coding standards and best practices for the development team.
- Mentor junior developers by providing technical guidance and code review feedback.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the ServiceNow platform.
- Participate in architecture and solution design sessions with stakeholders.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Familiarity with source control, SNOW test automation and deployment tools.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of ServiceNow AppEngine development experience.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and limitations.
- Certifications, such as, Certified Application Developer and/or AI
- Experience in large-scale ServiceNow implementations
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
