Job Title: Administrative Assistant 2
Job Location: Redmond, WA (Hybrid)

Typical Day in the Role
Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is to build foundation for the AI tools to be built upon. They have recently gone through a couple re-organizations which hired on some additional high-level folks. They need help with calendar support and team support for their teams.
Key projects: This role will contribute to calendar support and general team support.
Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 60% calendar management (2 calendars to support), 40% team support (for example: ordering equipment, helping team set up things/equipment/supplies)

Candidate Requirements
Years of Experience Required: 2-4 overall years of experience in the field.
Degrees or certifications required: N/A
Disqualifiers: N/A
Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain previous Microsoft experience is a huge bonus (internal tools knowledge) and if they've worked at a large technology company
Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines and quality of work. Getting meetings scheduled in timely matter, attention to detail and correctness.

Will this individual be booking travel? If so, do they require knowledge of international Visa processes? What is the expected volume of travel arrangements? Will they be responsible for booking domestic or international travel, or both?
-- Possibly booking travel - if they do travel, it'll just be quick domestic.
Will this person be managing any individual calendars? If so, how many? Will this require complex calendaring?
-- 2 - 2-4 YOE will suffice for calendaring experience. Able to use common sense and accommodate for higher management
How large is the team this person will be supporting?
-- 1 team of 20-25 people (design team), the other persons team is 65-75 team (PM team)
What level of Excel skills does this role require? Pivot tables? V-lookup?
-- Standard excel skills
Will this role require any advanced event planning/coordination experience?
-- No - may be asked to help schedule a group lunch but nothing off-site (all in the building)

Summary:
Performs a variety of complex administrative functions for all levels of management including external business partners. Manages schedule(s), coordinates travel arrangements and processes business expenses. Coordinates meetings and events, department financial operations, personnel operations, and facility operations. Manages procurement of goods and services including computer equipment, office supplies, reference materials, and vendor relationships. Provides general office support. Serves as the department/group contact. Completes special projects as assigned.
