Job Title: Systems Infrastructure Engineer/Architect (Mainframe, AIX)
Location: Remote (Travel Requiured : 1 week at kickoff and maximum 1 week every 1-2 months at NYC.)
Duration: Long-term

We're seeking a Mainframe Infrastructure Engineer/Architect to join a team modernizing and supporting enterprise-grade systems. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience with CICS and zOS, and hands-on skills with AIX, LINUX, and IBM MQ.

You'll lead CICS upgrades (v5.5 to 6.1), integrate monitoring tools like Instana, troubleshoot complex issues across distributed/mainframe systems, and contribute to architectural strategy.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 10+ years with CICS (incl. Transaction Gateway)

  • 10+ years with zOS

  • 5+ years with AIX

  • 5+ years with IBM MQ

  • 4+ years with LINUX

Bonus Experience (Nice to Have):

  • DB2, IDMS, Assembler, or basic Networking

  • Experience with Instana or similar observability tools
