Type: Contract to Hire
Location: Hybrid in Denver
Pay: $45-$52/hour
Are you a cybersecurity professional with a passion for safeguarding enterprise environments and shaping proactive security strategies? We're looking for an Enterprise Security Engineer to join a global IT team supporting operations across the U.S., UK, Australia, and Europe.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to strengthen the organization's security posture.
- Evaluate and implement security controls to protect against evolving cyber threats.
- Lead the identification of risks, develop mitigation strategies, and deploy robust security solutions.
- Support audits and compliance initiatives (SOX, PCI, etc.).
- Recommend and manage security tools based on effectiveness and cost.
- Promote continuous improvement of security maturity across the organization.
What You Bring:
- 2+ years experience in Cybersecurity
- Strong foundation in information security principles including risk management, access control, network security, and endpoint protection.
- Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and their security best practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in security engineering, systems management, and incident response.
- Familiarity with scripting (Python, PowerShell, etc.).
- Experience managing EDR/MDR solutions.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, AWS Security Specialty, or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
