Role: Production Support Engineer -Java/.Net (19587-1)
Location: San Antonio, TX or Austin, TX (hybrid, locals only)
Duration: 12+ Months


Description:

We are looking for a highly energetic and collaborative Java/.Net
Support Engineer with experience in building integrations to third-party
applications. You must possess strong background on Java or .NET, and
experienced in leveraging Google Cloud Platform environments. The candidate must possess
excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to
collaborate effectively with domain experts and technical experts in the
team.


Responsibilities:

Integrate applications using Java/.Net
Work with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform)
Ensure system observability using logging, monitoring and alerting
tools
Troubleshoot scale connectivity to server
Work with shared services teams and vendor teams
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain
code quality standards.
Provide updates and status reports during support activities.
Ensure solutions are based on standards, maintainable and delivered
on schedule.
Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and
investigation.
Participate in Agile/Scrum process, collaborating closely with
Product Owners and QA
Proactive share accomplishments, knowledge, and lessons within the
team.


Requirements:

At least 6 years experience developing Java applications
Advance proficiency in Java or .Net
Experience in developing and maintaining secure integrations
Experience in leveraging Google Cloud Platform environment.
Good exposure in Scrum
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to
troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability
to work effectively in a team environment
Proficient in the following technologies: Oracle, SQL Server
With knowledge/experience using the following tools: Git,
Confluence, Jira
Background in Retail business is a plus
