Now Hiring: Precious Metals Processing Technician
All shifts available/2nd and 3rd Shift
Are you hands-on, mechanically inclined, and eager to work in a high-value, precision-driven environment? Our client is seeking Precious Metals Processing Technician, where you'll play a critical role in the manufacturing, processing, and evaluation of precious metals. Whether you're experienced or just starting your career in industrial manufacturing, we'll provide full training to the right candidate!

Are you hands-on, mechanically inclined, and eager to work in a high-value, precision-driven environment? Our client is seeking Precious Metals Processing Technician, where you'll play a critical role in the manufacturing, processing, and evaluation of precious metals. Whether you're experienced or just starting your career in industrial manufacturing, we'll provide full training to the right candidate!
What You'll Do:
- Load, unload, and move materials for melt, sampling, and homogenization processes.
- Set up, monitor, and operate induction furnaces, mixers, hoists, bead blasting tools, and other processing equipment.
- Cast molten materials into preformed molds and handle post-processing tasks.
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation including weights, tracking logs, and lab results.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, filter changes, cleanouts, and daily housekeeping.
- Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory protocols-training provided!
- Assist in other departmental duties as directed by your supervisor.
Physical & Work Environment:
- This is a physically active role: frequent standing, bending, reaching, lifting (up to 70 lbs), and working in a production environment.
- Must be comfortable working around high temperatures, industrial equipment, and molten materials.
? Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to work with heavy-duty tools and systems
- 1+ year of experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred-but we're happy to train the right person!
- Comfortable with math and documentation; basic computer skills a plus
- Prior metal casting experience is a strong plus
