Data Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Richmond, VA that is in need of a Data Architect.

Responsibilities:
* Architect and model data solutions using Snowflake and Azure
* The Data Architect will build conceptual data models and drive them to execution
* Implement stored procedures and avoid additional transition layers
* Work with Snowflake to build comprehensive data sets
* Conceptualize and implement the Enterprise Data Model (EDM) for specific business units (e.g., Retail Supply, CarMax Auto/Finance, ERP, HR, Accounting)
* Develop models that include autonomy and taxonomy for primary and secondary domains
* The Data Architect will collaborate with the Data Engineering team and business analytics team to ensure successful execution
* Communicate effectively with business stakeholders to discuss data requirements and solutions

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience as a Data Architect
* Strong knowledge of Snowflake and Azure cloud services
* Experience building and executing conceptual data models
* Proficiency in stored procedures and data warehousing
* Ability to work with Snowflake to build data sets and conceptualize EDM
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with business stakeholders

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
